I am passionate about fashion and all things in Melbourne. Formerly I was a fashion buyer at a major women’s chain store, before that I was a lawyer - albeit a frustrated fashionable (I like to think) one. As a fashion buyer I would spend hours looking at overseas websites and blogs and I got tired of looking at items that were not relevant to me! I was constantly looking at clothes that I couldn’t purchase here in Melbourne and people who were in the wrong season. While I understand we all need inspiration from all sources I wanted some information on Melbourne fashion too and where to get it! Some of the most sophisticated, glamorous and beautiful people can be found around Melbourne. Afterall we are the most stylish capital!

So I thought what the heck - as a general good service to our town of Melbourne - and also because I love clothes and shopping - I would put together a website/blog where everyone could get inspired by the sophisticated people of Melbourne, the chic shops, streets and arcades we have and the great fashion available to buy out there. Of course we don’t live in a bubble so I will acknowledge I am very fond of Blair from Gossip Girl and don’t get me started on Nicole Richie….
