80s trash

I know I have discussed it before (the body suit is back) but the the strong influence of the eighties on the recent Rosemount Australian Fashion Week was unmistakeable. Shoulder pads, bodysuits, body con, crop tops the list continues. Out and about in Melbourne eighties trash was everywhere - suddenly acid wash was back again and looking cool.

The idea of acid wash is quite scary - I wasn’t into it back in the 80’s - and I’m not a fan now although I wouldn’t rule it out completely - you never know!! I do love the bodysuits though and I wish I had kept mine, I had quite a few from the stores Maestro and Bloch - *sigh*

Sorry - not for me. In the last few years I’ve veered totally away from “fashion” because of the prevalence of such things as acid wash jeans, leggings and bodysuits. *shudder*
